Ventura County Registrar of Voters Mark Lunn gave a presentation to the Board of Supervisors on how voting will occur Nov. 3 and the emphasis for safety during the pandemic on voting by mail.

Ventura County Registrar of Voters Mark Lunn said his department is preparing for the Nov. 3 election, with a focus on asking county residents to vote by mail. Currently, 72% of county residents vote by mail, a number that is increasing each year, he said.

He said he is asking voters to “please, please, please” use the vote-by-mail option while there is a pandemic and as flu season approaches.
